A recent article in the Richmond Times-Dispatch listed the percentage of 1 to 1 programs within several states. Research released last year show that South Dakota (24.1%), Maine (18.3%) and Wyoming (14.6%) rounded out the top 3 states with the highest percentage of schools with a 1 to 1 program. The state with the lowest percentage of schools with a 1 to 1 program was California (1.7%). The other state listed in the article was Virginia who has close to 5% of its schools involved in a 1 to 1 program.
